The adventures start with a full-day Kigali City Sightseeing, then te visit of the Volcanoes National Park Mountaiin gorillas, visit Pfunda tea plantation along the way, the guided boat trips to Napoleon and other interesting islands in Kivu lake in Kibuye, trek the chimpanzees and visit Cyamudongo Tourism Promotion cooperative, a local community for welcome, traditional dance and drumming and lastly, experience the canopy walk in Nyungwe National park before heading back to Kigali city.
Day one: Airport pick-up by a Countryside Tours guide and hotel transfer for an overnight stay in Kigali city.
Day two: A full-day Kigali City Sightseeing and overnight stay in Musanze town in the Northern province where the Volcanoes National Park with its mountain gorillas are found and overnight stay in Musanze town.
Day three: Visit the mountain gorillas in the Volcanoes National Park and overnight stay in Gisenyi town.
Day four:
Hotel check-out, visit Pfunda tea plantation along the way, transfer to Kivu lake in Kibuye
Guided boat ride to the islands in Kivu Lake, Karongi (Previously Kibuye) in the Western province and overnight stay in Kibuye.
Day five: Hotel check-out and head to Rusizi, South-Western province
Day six:
Wake-up early to leave the hotel by 04h00, visit the chimpanzees in Nyungwe National park
If time allows, visit Cyamudongo Tourism Promotion cooperative, a local community for welcome, traditional dance and drumming, overnight stay in Rusizi town.
Day seven: Experience the Canopy walk in Nyungwe national Park and head to Kigali for airport transfer.
