This tour has been specially designed to accommodate the interests of a birder looking out for the special bird species of Uganda in 3 Days time. This safari has a variety of bird species inclusive of the rift valley endemic species; this Uganda birding safari will give you an opportunity to search for the shoebill stock in mabamba swamp and have any amazing birding experience at botanical gardens in Entebbe, as well as engage into savanna birding activity in Lake Mburo national park and visit Mpanga forest for the same adventure. On this, the locations and destinations have been carefully selected to give you an opportunity to visit some of Uganda’s top birding spots which are filled with pure birding gems. This 3 Days Uganda Birding Safari has the biggest reach out to different birding destinations in a few days and is available throughout the year. Mabamba Swamp And Botanical Gardens Birding Tour
Early morning breakfast and transfer to Mabamba wetland one of the few remaining wetlands managed by the local community, and the wetland is located along the shores of Lake Victoria. Our main aim here is to look out for the shoebill species among others like the Pink backed Pelican, Squacco Heron, Yellow billed Duck, Long tailed Cormorant, Malachite Kingfisher, and many more. from there we shall transfer back to Entebbe for lunch and after we will head out for birding around the botanical gardens which is a diverse environment that has a lot of birds to offer like Great Blue Turaco, Ross’s Turaco, Swifts, Sunbirds, Red-headed Lovebird, Weavers, Finches, and other birds. Evening transfer to Lake Mburu National park for dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Birding In Lake Mburo National Park
Whole day birding in Lake Mburo National Park looking out for bird species like the Bateleur, Crested Francolin, Emerald-spotted Wood Dove, Brown Parrot, Black-bellied Bustard, Bare-faced Go-away-bird, African Grey Hornbill, Spot-flanked Barbet, Blue-napped Mousebird, Long tailed Cisticola, Yellow-breasted Apalis, Long tailed Cisticola, among other birds. Alongside mammals like the gorgeous Eland, Impala, Cape Buffalo, zebras, Reedbuck, Waterbuck Bushbuck, Topi, Hippos, Oribi, Bush-duiker, giraffes and others.

Birding In Lake Mburo National Park And Transfer To Kampala Via Mpanga Forest
Early morning breakfast, set off for the birding nature walk in Lake Mburo national park to look out for more various resident bird species which we may have missed the previous day like the Giant Kingfisher,Shinning Blue Kingfisher, African Fish Eagle among many more. Later transfer to Mpanga Forest which is a home to over 300 bird species. While here we are likely to see the Yellow-throated Longclaw, Little Greenbul, White-headed Sawwing, Western Nicator, Winding Cisticola, Tawny-flanked Prinia, Bronze Sunbird, Copper Sunbird, Black Cuckoo, Green-headed Sunbird, Superb Sunbird, Variable Sunbird, Scarlet-chested Sunbird, and many more. Then after proceed to Entebbe international airport for you departure flight.
