The Ngurdoto Crater, Small and Big Momela Lakes offers a variety of bird species that may include Maccoa Duck, Great Sparrowhawk, Lesser Flamingo, African Crowned Eagle, Narina Trogon, Mountain Buzzard, White-eared Barbet, Forest Batis, Silvery- cheeked Hornbill, Black-fronted Bush Shrike, Trilling Cisticola, Taveta Golden Weaver. Other wildlife species includes waterbucks and Buffalos among others.

Secretary Bird, Tawny, Pigmy Falcon, Lappet-faced & White-headed Vultures, African Fish & Martial Eagles, Magpie Shrike, Southern Ground Hornbill, Grey Kestrel, Banded Parisoma, African Scops Owl, Mottled Spinetails and many more.
